Community fridges are outdoor refrigerators stocked by volunteers, local businesses, and neighbors โ available to anyone who needs food, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Anyone can take food from a community fridge at any time, without asking permission or explaining why. There are no income requirements, no ID checks, and no limits.
If you have extra food โ garden produce, pantry surplus, restaurant leftovers โ you can donate it to the fridge. Please label homemade food with ingredients and date.
Check expiration dates, remove spoiled food, and keep the fridge clean. If you notice a problem, contact the fridge's host organization.
